    Come join our 3-week class, starting March 11, as we get to know the beliefs, history, mission and organization of the Church of the Nazarene. You will learn more about our local vision and values and will have the opportunity to join our church at the end of the class. 

  • Holiness Made Clear

    God's call in our lives is simple: it is to walk with Him. He calls us to a life without guilt and sin, a life of freedom to live for him, a life of sanctification. Come join us as we seek to understand terms of Nazarene doctrine such as sanctification and holiness as we develop a life serving God.

  • The Apostles' Creed by Matt Chandler

    Facilitator: Sheila Umbs


    Come examine the primary tenets of Christianity. The Apostles' Creed contains essential doctrines and beliefs that summarize the gospel and the foundation of our faith. The scriptural truths contained in the creed enable us to build our Christian lives on good theology, with the knowledge that our faith is rooted in truth and a rich history.

    Facilitators: A Panel of Grandparents


    Many powerful voices are influencing our grandchildren, from those at home and in their schools to those in the world of entertainment and media. What can you as a grandparent do to speak wisdom and godliness into their lives? This class will give you a biblical foundation for investing spiritually in your grandkids, walking you through the principles of influencing them for Christ.

Upward Sports League

Upwards Sports is a ministry to children through basketball and cheerleading. Each week, participants are taught valuable lessons from God's word and have lots of fun playing and competing. We believe that every child is a winner when they grow in all aspects of the game. This is our 21st season in the Findlay area.

Children's ministries


Elementary Kids

Elementary school-aged children meet in the Power Plant room on Sunday mornings at 10:45 am and Wednesday nights at 6:45 pm. They experience games and interactive play to create the ideal environment to grow in their knowledge and understanding of Christ. 

Pre-Schoolers
Children age 4 to kindergarten meet in the Promise Land room on Sunday mornings at 10:45 am  and Wednesday nights at 6:45 pm. They can be part of our Kinder Choir / Bible Fun on Wednesday nights. Lessons include Bible stories, interactive play, activity books, and take-home papers.

Toddlers
A toddler room for ages 2 & 3 is available Sunday mornings during both worship hours and Wednesday nights, offering various toys and activities. 

Babies
A nursery for ages 0 to 24 months are available Sunday mornings during both worship hours. Many of our parents rotate in as helpers in this important ministry.

The Cry Room
A mother's room is available anytime. This small room is equipped with rocking chairs, changing table, and a TV monitor for private viewing of our worship services. Our main hallways are also a spot parents can watch the services.

Chinese Ministries

In recent years we have offered a variety of activities for our local international students attending The University of Findlay and Chinese families in Findlay. 

We offer a Chinese worship service, scheduled for the first Sunday of every month at 4:00pm in our youth room. A Chinese fellowship in the FLC follows each service. 



The Twice-Blessed children's consignment Sale

The Twice-Blessed Sale is a ministry to parents and families providing necessary children's and household items at a bargain price. This event launched in the Fall of 2006 and has continued semi-annually each September and April.
