We are accepting coach applications for basketball and cheerleading for the 2026 season. If you would consider being a coach, please fill out the form below. You will receive all the training and tools that you need. Because Upward policies may change year-to-year, attendance at one coach training meeting is required for new and experienced coaches.
All coaches must attend one pre-season training meeting on either Saturday, November 21 or Monday, November 23.
The Difference between a positive and negative sports program is coach! If you are coaching, keep up the good work. You are truly appreciated!
The only 3 qualifications for coaches are:
Be a follower of Jesus Christ.
Have Christ-like character.
Be a leader for your team.
Coach Responsibilities include:
Running 10 practices on your assigned week night.
Running 8 games on Saturdays.
All coaches will receive a coaches kit, playbook, and a polo shirt.
